Halloween2
Soundtrack
Another reason for the success of Halloween is the film and
particularly the main theme. In the absence of a symphonic
soundtrack is a soundtrack from a John Carpenter played piano
melody in 5/4-Takt. The critic James Berardinelli found the
film Halloween as a "relatively simple and unsophisticated,"
but was nevertheless, it was "one of the biggest advantages" of
the film [8].
In this respect Composer Carpenter noted that he only
keyboard notes and neither could read nor write. Carpenter,
however, was far less helpless as the circumstances appear, as
some help from composer Dan Wyman received, the music professor
at San Jose State University was. The guy is Carpenter for his
work after composers of his native city as the "Bowling Green
Orchestra" called.
There are some songs in the film to hear, such as an
untitled song by Carpenter and a few friends who have a band
called "The Coupe DeVille" formed was recorded. This title can
be heard as Laurie on the way to her babysitting job at the
Doyle in Annie's car.
